How to understand the Bible
the Bible is not to be read as a history book of the past. It is a dynamic document that has gone back in time to us, in which we should find ourselves and find our role, and do better than the characters that are represented. Above all, adapt it to our time to be such good actors in the drama of LIFE.
However, do not try to change the play as the prayer above suggested,Playing with an excess of narrow words called prayer, hence my comments below.

A set of intellectual exercises rather than a sincere heartbeat , because it is marked by pride and a spiritual materialism pushed to the extreme.
The prayer that suits God should be stripped of all these flourishes.
Speaking of the Name of Jesus was the main subject of this beautiful poetry with no real understanding what the Name spoken of is. Jesus had made known this NAME only to his disciples, The ones that have become Apostles of the word , that is to say; that they were invested with the power to confer this Name as pastors in order to lead the marked sheep in their times and in all places that God Himself would allow them to identify from the mark that they would see on the forehead of the people. Rev. 4: 1, 14: 9 and 21: 7
Saul of Tarsus (PAUL) former persecutor of the Christians who, by his provisions became one of the most fervent servants of Christendom. He was given the Name of Jesus by Ananias at the request of Christ Himself who could no longer do this work, because He had already made his resurrection (Act 1: 21,22) otherwise he would have gone beyond his rights:
As, it is a privilege of a living Holy One or The Word made flesh as a living being who is always present on the earth. Act 9: 10-22.
Ironically, In this long narration, I did not detect or hear the true word that could have been attributed to the Name of Jesus: (LOVE) who would more or less give a hint that we were really addressing God, not to ask him for dominating powers to fight against imaginary enemies, to help us multiply our riches on earth and so many other stories that have nothing to do with a true prayer.
