In this poem, I put the considerations of the soul in Blue and my answers in Red.
In the development of my text, although I commend the Catholic Church, I do not diminish the beliefs of other religions or other Christian denominations. I wanted to bring my little seed of understanding which I hope will serve as light to more than one.
This poem is beyond all relationships…….*
_When I’m dead…..,_
_Your tears will flow,.._
_But I won’t know…_
*Cry with me now instead!*
(Wrong, you should try not to come back in this valley of suffering and tears.)
_You will send flowers, _
_But I won’t see…_
*Send them now instead!*
(No dear soul, you were unfortunately so busy trying to possess all the world that’s why I could show you my real feelings for you now.)
_You’ll say words of praise,.._
_But I won’t hear.._
*Praise me now instead!*
(Praising you in the world would make your ego too big. Now they are done do lift you up in all humility.)
_You’ll forget my faults,…._
_But I won’t know….._
*Forget them now, instead!*
(I have learned not to judge, that why I never reminded you of any wrongdoing , now , I am there to encourage you to not take self-pity on you, that is why.)
_You’ll miss me then,…_
_But I won’t feel…_
*Miss me now, instead*
(More than ever you will feel it because you are now endowed with a loving sentiment to accept my sincere feeling about you.)
_You’ll wish…_
_You could have spent more time with me, _
*Spend it now instead!*
(We were not meant to be bound in attachment in order for us to go about our salvation which is personal. That was not selfishness)
The writer in the RED is playing fun. I don’t think he/she knows the gratitude of the Poem. I am wasting my time. The Poem speaks volumes to all relationship.
