SIMILARITY IN THE SCRIPTURES AND THEIR MYSTIC EXPLANATION FOR REAL KNOWLEDGE

Someone might say: I see something there that is wrong, but God knows. This is why the Mystics were very concerned about how to convey these teachings in a profound way, thus avoiding that we find justifications for any act and attribute it to God. The Masters were concerned not to divulge the deep concepts until they were certain that the people to whom these profound thoughts were being transmitted had the maturity to absorb them.

For if we approach it without understanding the intent and importance of the idea, it would be easy to distort it by justifying any act by saying that God was really behind.

The complexity is that on the positive side, it teaches us that whatever we encounter, we can look deep inside and see a sacred spark. The danger on the negative side is, when we try to justify evil acts based on the fact that they contain a sacred spark.

The Mystics ensured that the people with whom they worked with these concepts had attained a degree of spirituality enabling them to work with them on a higher level. In this context, the teaching of the mystics, is that there is in all, a divine spark but, our goal is to work to raise these sacred sparks, no matter how they present themselves.

It is a way of saying that when one is engaged in spiritual work and in meditation, and we find that our mind turns in all forms of thoughts and doubts that pushes us in all directions, our Master would come to tell us that I There is a sacred spark in each of these thoughts, there is a sacred spark in the universe of doubt, in the universe of anxiety, in anger, just raise them and bring them into deep connection with the divine.

The lesson in all this is to seek the sacred spark in all, even in the heart of the negative power there is in its depth this sacred spark.

The weapons that the negative power uses are; fear and the attachments to the goods, the joys and the ephemeral material happiness to keep us the longest in his lap.

Fasts, songs and prayers we formulate are also part of its attractions that keep us tied in the world.

Since in this school of life, there will always be beginners and elders to help them walk the path but, without pushing them, because it is like in the parable of the employer: No matter what time we enter, what we do, the salary will be the same. Then, when the time is right, everyone will answer the call in their time and it is the last one that always go first. In this case, the last one means, ‘’one who is on the finish line and did not have great task to accomplish.’’ So forcing someone to walk in the same way as we did without allowing him having to go through the steps legitimately would be tantamount to failing that person in his quest for the control of good and evil, the only condition without which no one will be able to leave this world Definitely.

When the disciple is ready, the Master, the spiritual Guide or the Good Shepherd, appears.
