But, remember that: salvation is personal.
What is written in the Bible?
Firstly:
Temptation of Jesus Christ (Matthew 4.1 – 11)
4 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted[a] by the devil.
2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.
(A review that everyone must stand alone, is the significance of the desert. Our success will depend on the degree of real knowledge to prove that we are well advanced.)
3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
(This is to see if our sensory attachments are well mastered and sublimated)
4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’[b]”
5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple.
Holy City, it is the Jerusalem of the bible that we must build in our body. Of course, when the body is not contaminated by meat food, alcohol, drugs and tans of other impurities that we let go. If these conditions are not met, there will be no temple for a new spiritual birth, this (Christmas) because God has need of this temple to settle.
6 “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:
“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’[c]”
(How can someone throw himself down while in a city of the world. This shows that everything occurs within our body , there angels to support and serve us are found.)
7 Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’[d]” ======
8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.
(When you will be wearing our stature of son of God by understanding and using the name that our true living Shepherd would give us to free ourselves, and when we middle we are beings spiritual and that our behaviour would reflect it,) then, there will be more to trap.)
9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
(It is to see if we know where we’re going, that the world is nothing in comparison to the heavens where we come from and want to go back.)
10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’[e]”
(You cannot have supremacy over Satan that we call Devil, because he is doing his censoring as part of his duty without fault, if we have any attachment to his world and its attractions, we will not pass his exams and emerge. As you can see, he has access into the Holy City within us.
Be on your guard.)
If we do not want Satan to dwell in us, do not do like Job, see (Job 1:6). Have you ever wondered the reason why all the disappointments and misfortunes Job had to endure? While he was considered an integrated and a right man?
The answer is in verses 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Chapter 1. If you follow the precepts that Jesus left us, asking us to detach ourselves from the world and ist attractions so that the shepherds of our time to appear in our life to strengthen us and make us fit so that on the judgement day, which is the day that Satan will (review, test or tempt us). We will all get to go through that the same way Jesus did . Without the Master’s supports, we are dim to fail and sent back to the world, sometimes, we will get to stay at the threshold of Jerusalem to learn from our mistakes and sent back to fulfil our task in the world again until we learn the correct way to behave and prepare ourselves to come out victorious on the next judgement day, hopefully under the guidance of a Good Shepherd.
11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.
