Secondly:
- the day of Pentecost, they were all together in the same place.
This isn’t a day special but, anytime, for what we are ready. The date of December 25 for the Christmas is symbolic to remind us that love, peace, sharing are needed in our daily practice in order to create the necessary atmosphere, only condition to build the Jerusalem and raise his temple inside of us.
2 suddenly there came from the sky a noise like that of a mighty wind, and it filled the entire House where they were sitting.
It is in our body that is heaven or everything happens and this, in our lifetime. The Apostle Paul asks us to learn to die every day, it’s like a repetition of the death before the day of departure, so that we are not to be shaken.
3 the tempter came and said to him: “If you are the son of God, command that these stones become bread.”
(This is to see if our sensory attachments are well mastered and sublimated)
4 Jesus answered: “it is written: man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”
- The devil then carried him into the Holy City, placed him at the top of the temple.
Holy City, it is the Jerusalem of the bible that we must build in our body. Of course, when the body is not contaminated by meal, alcohol, drugs and tans of other impurities that we let go. If these conditions are not met, there will be no temple for a new spiritual birth, this (Christmas) because God has need of this temple to settle.
6 and said to him: “If you are the son of God, throw yourself down! “Indeed, it is written: he will give orders to his angels to your subject and they will hold you on the hands, lest your foot against a stone.”
(How can one throw himself down while in a city on earth. All these things occur within , there angels will support and we serve us.)
7 Jesus said to him: “it is also written: you inform not the Lord, your God.»
(When we will maintain our stature of son of God by understanding and using the name that our true living Shepherd would bestow to us to free ourselves, and when we know that we are spiritual beings and behaving as such, then, there will be no more trapping.)
- The devil carried him still on a very high mountain, showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory
9 and said to him: “I’ll give all this, if you’ll bow to worship me.”
(It is still to see if we know where we’re going, that the world is nothing in comparison to the heavens where we come from and want to go back.)
10 then Jesus said to him: “Begone, Satan!” “Indeed, it is written: it is the Lord your God, that you’ll love and him only you shall serve.”
11 then the devil left him. And behold, Angels came to Jesus and served.
(You cannot have supremacy over Satan that we call devil, because he does his job as a faultless censor , if we have the attachment to his world and its attractions, we will not emerge. You see he has access into the Holy City inside us. Let’s be on our guards.)
If we do not want Satan to dwells within us, not to be like Job, see (Job 1:6) have we ever wondered what was the reason for all the disappointments and adventures of Job? While he was considered an integrated and right man?
The answer is in verses 2, 3,4 and 5 of Chapter 1. If you follow the precepts that Jesus left us, asking us to detach ourselves from the world, that the shepherds of our time come to strengthen at any time and in any place, so that in the day of judgment (review or temptation) we are ready to come out victorious.
