Other times, other manners -Pindare

challenged by two videos received this day, one of which seeks people’s support, and the other which radically repudiates the cheekiness of a group which wants to assert itself by trying to influence people where even children in the cradle are not spared.

See both videos at the end to understand the reasoning behind my questions :

What society would you rather be part of ?

This one: “Customs always make better citizens than laws”

Viewed by Montesquieu.

Or, this one:
Morals spoil more easily than they recover.  Viewed by Vauvenargues.

And Victor Hugo’s unequivocally statement :

It must be concluded that morals are depraved day by day.

Why do bad morals persist? While all it takes is a little goodwill to correct an individual’s birth defects, instead of making excuses for them.

Here is an excerpt from the above testimony:

(When homosexuality was considered a disease, elaborates Baussan, certain therapies had been developed. One of the best known was the aversion therapy which consisted in subjecting the patient to moderately painful electric shocks whenever fantasies homosexuals came to her mind. “ This method has never proven its effectiveness, she adds. On the other hand, it has been able to cause anxiety, depression and even suicidal thoughts in some people. ”
This therapy has therefore been banned, reports the psychologist, but it is still practiced in a disguised or softened way under the name of “ repair therapy ” with still as much ineffectiveness.)
They walked past it and let the problem grow.
All is not lost however.
It must first be recognized that science cannot always understand everything, especially when it comes to subjects that fall into the metaphysical realm.

There is always the path of the happy medium which is well guarded by living holy men, in order to make known and respect the divine prerogatives of the different births.

Hinduism explains what Ecclesiastes wanted to say about time:
“This fourth corrupt age is the Kali age, or the age of iron, characterized by the spiritual decline of civilization, violence, plagues and a tragic desecration of nature.

The Age of Kali immediately precedes complete destruction, which then evolves into the purity of the Golden Age, when the cycle begins again.

According to Hinduism, when evil and chaos in the world reach their peak of intolerable obscenity, an avatar – embodiment of the supreme being – appears on Earth and restores righteousness and purity to mankind. The Hindu Puranas, which are a written intertwining of mythology and history, contain a list of prophecies involving this cyclical concept which is as close as Hinduism comes to other religions’ conception of the end of times:”

I have come back again and again with this verse which speaks of the fourth type of volition of the five types of men who take birth in different degrees in the physical world.
John 1:13 not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Since we are talking about testimonies of Christians on homosexuality.

Christianity is certainly all love, but does not tolerate distortion.

Here is what we retained in one of the chapters of the book: HISTORY OF CHRISTIANITY IN THE MIDDLE AGES:
“Reason enables man to choose freely and presents to the will the objects of volition. Certain virtues, like prudence and temperance, may be normally accessible to man, while supernatural virtues like faith, hope and charity are given to us only by the grace of God. Grace never suppresses nature, it only makes it more perfect. The radical separation between nature and grace that Augustine established, is the reality left aside by Thomas Aquinas. The Redemption, for him, appears rather as a follow-up to Creation than as the restoration of a transformed Creation. Reason and faith coexist harmoniously: Faith completes reason and goes far beyond, but never contradicts it. Thomas Aquinas spoke of his natural theology (or philosophy) by a complete exposition of revealed truths.”

In a very recent text: (The challenge facing religion), I quoted Bacon without elaboration, here is what he said and which can allow religion to catch up. I hope so thanks to the tools that science has made available to all.
